Bracken United Methodist Church was established in 1871 as Zions
Kirche in southern Comal County. Its unique position at the juncture of
Comal, Guadalupe, and Bexar counties allows this rapidly growing
congregation to remember its tradition out of the German immigration
to Texas, its Methodist Christian heritage, and its role in shaping the
community and surrounding area through Christian witness. We are
passionate about offering people the opportunity for spiritual growth,
creating relationships with people, and making a difference in the
community and world.

Christian faith of an excited and exciting place where God is moving
people toward a powerful proclamation of Good News for living in God’s
kingdom.
